After looking at both brackets, I believe the small school bracket has much better teams in it than the big school. I'm a bit stuck on region 4 so outside of that I'm just guessing, but from wha I can tell, the state champ in d2 is probably the 4a best team. That month anyway.
Looks like Tivy and Cedar Park are in for a showdown early....
Which will be good for Calallen assuming they make it to face the potential winner in that match up. We are familar with Kerrville of course. But getting to see what they can do against CP will give us clue what we might be up against. Same goes for PLC too looking in from the otherside of the bracket.
Looks like GP, FB, CAL and PLC all have a good chance to make it to the 3rd round. After that, who knows. Competition gets pretty stiff after that.
Heck, FB has a damn good chance to go further.
It really looks like Flour Bluff & Calallen will have the toughest potential 3rd round match-ups vs Leander and Cedar Park. Those teams are probably the two best teams in Region IV. Calhoun would be looking at Vista Ridge or SA Brennan and G-P would be looking at Leander Rouse or Alamo Heights in potential 3rd round matchups. On paper, it looks as if Flour Bluff & Calallen would have the toughest potential 3rd round matchups. But, who knows? That's why they play the games on the field...

I haven't really kept up with CP this year I guess since the great Lake Travis moved up. I know they had a good year last year and nearly knocked off LT, but how good are they this year compared to last? The potential Kerrville/CP match up will give us a good indicator for sure.
We shouldn't have much trouble in the first round. Hopefully our second round game against Aledo (probably) will be on Saturday, otherwise I won't be back... And we'll be going a long way for the third round!
